Assam: Explosives recovered from bus

Guwahati: Explosives have been recovered
from a bus passenger in Assam`s Karbi Anglong district on Wednesday.

Police said one Kewa Hao, boarded a passenger bus from
Dimapur heading from Guwahati, when he was intercepted by the
police based on a secret tip off at Khatkati at 5.30 pm.

One 7.5 pistol, two magazines, and some amount of live
ammunition was recovered from him.

The police has arrested the youth, hailing from
Nagaland, and his interrogation was on.

The person`s link with any extremist organisation is
also being investigated, they said.
