Arvind Kejriwal used Anna Hazare: Uma Bharti

Union Minister Uma Bharti on Saturday accused AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal of "using" Anna Hazare and said the party does not deserve another chance as its government "ran away" from responsibilities after remaining in power for 49 days.

New Delhi: Union Minister Uma Bharti on Saturday accused AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal of "using" Anna Hazare and said the party does not deserve another chance as its government "ran away" from responsibilities after remaining in power for 49 days.

"I urge the voters to give them only sympathy but no votes. They even used Anna Hazare who is a Mahapurush. Arvind Kejriwal used him to enter politics and forgot him after forming the government," she said addressing a rally at Rajinder Nagar.

"He forgot that if public gives opportunity, you owe a responsibility to them. But they were just interested in grabbing the opportunity," she said.

Lauding Kiran Bedi's entry into BJP, she said, "I am glad Bedi did not fall prey to his political game and detached herself from AAP timely."

"It was a good decision by BJP to project Bedi. I am myself is a fan of her."

Bharti said Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given a sense of pride to Indians and that no one feels Indians are "helpless" now after BJP came to power.
