New Delhi: Sharmistha Mukherjee, daughter of President Pranab Mukherjee, on Wednesday took pot shots at the BJP ahead of February 7 Delhi Assembly Elections.
Sharmistha, who filed her nomination as Congress candidate from the prestigious Greater Kailash constituency this morning, said the BJP wave will recede with time.
“Every wave reaches its peak and then recedes. It's the same with BJP,” she said.
She further expressed surprise over Kiran Bedi's nomination as BJP's Delhi chief ministerial candidate.
“I am surprised that someone who has joined BJP just days back was announced as the CM candidate. It shows BJP lacks leaders in Delhi,” the Congress leader said.
