Draft Bill for statehood of Delhi is ready: CM Arvind Kejriwal

New Delhi: The Aam Aadmi Party-led Delhi government has readied the Draft Bill for statehood of the national capital, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said on Saturday.

Sharing the information on Twitter, Kejriwal wrote, “Draft Bill for statehood of Delhi is ready.”

“The Bill will be soon placed in public domain for comments and suggestions from public,” he added.

Kejriwal has been batting for full statehood for Delhi, claiming the move will help him implement his plans better in the city.
