New Delhi: Lt Governor Tejendra Khanna on Sunday
said teachers should set the highest professional standards in
training young students.
Khanna, speaking as chief guest at the sixth foundation
day of Army Institute of Education, said teachers must not get
trapped "in narrow identity".
"We must have mutual respect and tolerance for different
beliefs and cultures present in our country," a release issued
by Raj Niwas quoted Khanna as saying.
He also released a book `Teacher Education Curriculum` on
the occasion, the release said.
