CBSE to hold Central Teacher Eligibility Test in Jammu for Srinagar candidates

New Delhi: In view of Kashmir unrest, the CBSE has decided to hold its Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2016 on September 18 in Jammu for candidates hailing from the violence-hit areas.

A notification in this regard has already been released on its official website.

The exam will be held for appointment of teachers for classes 1 to 8, India Today reported.

There is a total six exam centres in the state for the test.

And candidates can appear from any one of the centres.

The admit cards for the exam were released by CBSE on August 17.

Paper patten:

Paper I will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes I to V. It will be held from 2 pm to 4.30 pm.

Paper II will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes VI to VIII.

It will be held in the morning session from 9.30 am to 12 pm.

Separate test on any other date will not be conducted in any case. Therefore, the candidates of Srinagar (J&K) have the option to choose any one of the exam centres either in Srinagar (J&K) or in Jammu.

Candidates can appear at any of the below mentioned examination centre.
