New Delhi: Yoga guru Baba Ramdev on Saturday once again targetted Congress president Sonia Gandhi ahead of the Lok Sabha polls and compared her with various demonesses.
Ramdev said that Sonia has ruined the democracy in the country and taking on her foreign origin, he said that "Sonia is foreign dauther-in-law who has looted her in-laws home entirely."
He said that to defeat these evil foreign forces the BJP, which the yoga guru supports, have the like of Narendra Modi and Rajnath Singh.
Ramdev had earlier stated that Sonia is like a blot in politics and urged the BJP to field Hindutva firebrand Uma Bharti against her in Rae Bareli Lok Sabha constituency. Sonia Gandhi is an MP from Rae Bareli for the last two terms.
However, Bharti refused to contest from Rae Bareli and instead prefered to fight the upcoming General Elections from Jhansi.
Ramdev, who is known for his proximity to Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi, had pitched for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) poster boy and appealed to the people of the country to make him the next prime minister.
Modi had recently heaped praise on yoga guru Ramdev saying the issues raised by him were his own and these were giving sleepless nights to many.
