Panaji: In coordination with Western
Railways, Konkan Railway has decided to run special trains
between Ahmedabad and Madgaon to clear extra rush of
passengers during the summer season.
The trains will commence service in April, Baban
Ghatge, PRO of Konkan Railway, said in a release here on Tueday.
The train (09401) will leave Ahmedabad every Friday,
starting from April 1, at 1600 hrs and reach Madgaon the next
day at 1430 hrs.
On its return journey, the train (09402) will leave
Madgaon every Saturday starting from April 2 at 1520 hrs and
reach Ahmedabad at 1335 hrs the next day.
The train, which will have 20 services, will halt at
Vadodara, Surat, Valsad, Vapi, Vasai Road, Panvel, Roha, Khed,
Chiplun, Sangameshwar, Ratnagiri, Rajapur and Kankavali, the
release added.
