As many as 232 unfair means cases (UMC) have been registered in the state during the secondary examinations conducted by Board of School Education Haryana (HBSE), Bhiwani.

Chandigarh: As many as 232 unfair means cases (UMC) have been registered in the state during the secondary examinations conducted by Board of School Education Haryana (HBSE), Bhiwani.

The UMCs were registered yesterday for the first semester secondary examination in English and first and second semester senior secondary examinations in Home Science and Entrepreneurship subjects.

The flying squads of Board Secretary conducted a surprise inspection at examination centres in Tosham, Bawani Khera, Loharu, Charkhi Dadri and Bhiwani and registered 37 cases of copying, a spokesman of HBSE said today.

The flying squads of Board Secretary also made a surprise visit at exam centres in Fatehabad and Sirsa districts where they found the examinations running peacefully, he said.

Three teachers have been suspended for allegedly helping students for conducting unfair means during exams.

Apart from this, Special Task Force has also registered 68 cases of copying from various exam centres in Bhiwani district.
