Chattar Singh appointed as new PS CM Hooda

A 1980 batch IAS officer Chattar Singh was on Monday appointed as the new Principal Secretary to Haryana CM Bhupinder Singh Hooda who commenced his second tenure in the state following the recent assembly elections.

Chattar Singh was on Monday appointed as the new Principal
Secretary to Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda who
commenced his second tenure in the state following the recent
assembly elections.

Singh was in the previous tenure of Hooda Additional
Principal Secretary to Hooda. He has taken the place of M L
Tayal, who has moved to the Centre as a member of the
Competition Commission of India.

Following the promotion of Singh, Hooda would now have
one Additional Principal Secretary K K Khandelwal, who is
also the Director, Information, Public Relations and Cultural
Affairs, who continues in his post in the CMO, an official
spokesman said here today.

Khandelwal is also the Commissioner and Secretary,
Information, Public Relations and Cultural Affairs
Departments.

The three other offices who would continue in Hooda`s
second tenure included a 1994 batch IAS officer R.S. Doon,
who is Deputy Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, B.R.
Beri, HCS and M S Chopra, both Officers on Special Duty to
Chief Minister.

Meanwhile a 1975 batch IAS officer Naresh Gulati,
Financial Commissioner Public Health Engineering Department
has been posted as Financial Commissioner, Revenue and
Disaster Management and Consolidation Departments.
