Samuel L Jackson to star in film adaptation of ‘Rape: A Love Story’

Washington, March 03: American actor Samuel L Jackson has signed on to star in the big-screen adaptation of Joyce Carol Oates` 2003 book, ‘Rape: A Love Story’. He will be acting alongside Abigail Breslin and Maria Bello in the movie.

The film will feature him as a sympathetic cop who offers comfort to Breslin`s character and her mother, played by Bello, as her character recovers from a brutal gang rape. A Daily Variety report suggests that the film will be directed by Harold Becker. According to a website, filming for the moview is scheduled to begin in June. Apart from this film, Jackson also signed a nine-movie deal with comic book giants Marvel Entertainment last week. ANI
