Swine flu has claimed one more life in Rajasthan, taking the toll due to the HIN1 virus to 434 in the state since January this year, an official said Tuesday.

One person died of the dreaded virus in Jaipur yesterday, an official of the state Medical and Health Directorate said here.

However, with temperature rising above 42 degrees Celsius at most places in the state, the incidence of swine flu occurrence has reduced drastically as only two persons tested H1N1 positive since April 19, the official said.

Out of 6,6698 people diagnosed with the virus in the state, 434 people have died so far, he said.

Barring Dholpur and Sirohi, swine flu deaths have occurred in all 31 districts of Rajasthan, the official added.

Jaipur has recorded maximum 86 deaths, followed by Ajmer 48, Jodhpur 33, Nagaur 31, Barmer 23, Kota 22, Udaipur 15, Chittorgarh 14, Bhilwara and Tonk 13 each, Sikar and Pali 12 each, Jhunjhunu 11, Churu 10, Bikaner 8, Dausa and Bharatpur 7 each, Rajsamand, Alwar and Banswara 6 each.
