New Delhi: A day after Navjot Singh Sidhu quit BJP and Rajya Sabha, now Kirti Azad's wife is expected to join Aam Aadmi Party.
The suspended BJP MP Kirti Azad's wife Poonam Jha is likely to join AAP, sources said, according to a report in CNN-News18.
Kirti Azad talking to media didn't rule out speculations that his wife joining AAP.
"My wife's decision to join AAP is her personal decision," Kirti Azad said.
Azad was suspended last year by BJP for anti-party activities.
Choosing the very first day of the Monsoon Session to resign, Navjot Singh Sidhu went in person to meet Rajya Sabha Chairman Hamid Ansari to tender his resignation.
Later, Deputy Chairman PJ Kurien announced in the house that Sidhu's resignation has been accepted.
However, Sidhu's wife is still with BJP.
