Delhi: Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh said on Thursday China had illegally occupied Aksai Chin and that incursions by Chinese troops did not augur well in maintaining cordial relations with India's neighbour.
He also said that India wanted to maintain good relations with its neighbours but the gesture should be reciprocated by others too.
Slamming the Congress for some wrong policies, Rajnath said, “India lost precious territory to China and Pakistan due to wrong policies of the Congress,” and added, “Congress lost Tibet to China which acted as the ‘buffer state’ between both the countries and Pakistan handed over Aksai Chin area to China.”
