Mild earthquake jolts Rajasthan, no damage reported

Jaipur: A 4.4-magnitude earthquake jolted Jaipur and other parts of Rajasthan late on Thursday night.

The tremor which struck at 11:27 pm had its epicentre in Sikar at a depth of 10 kilometres.

TV reports said people rushed out of their homes in Jaipur and other cities following the tremor.

No loss of life or damage to property has been reported so far.

According to reports, mild tremors were also felt as far as in Noida.
