Bangalore: Amidst controversies and uproar around beef ban, Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Thursday condemned the intolerance prevailing over cow slaughter, reports claimed.
Addressing a gathering at an event, Karnataka CM launched scathing attack at the BJP and Sangh Parivar, stating he will eat beef now and nobody can question him.
“I will eat beef now. Who are you to question me?. Though I've not consumed beef till now, I will do it now. It's my right” reports quoted Siddaramaiah.
Targeting BJP and Sangh, he said that they cannot take away the rights of individuals.
Talking about recent Dadri lynching case, Siddaramaiah termed the incident 'inhumane' and slammed the growing intolerance prevailing in the nation.
"The right wing parties including Bajarang Dal, Sri Rama Sene, Vishwa Hindu Parishat etc. are all showing intolerance under BJP's regime," he said.
