Lalu Yadav decries separatists pro-Pak action in J&K, slams PM

RJD President Lalu Prasad on Friday assailed the PDP-BJP government in Jammu and Kashmir for failing to prevent waving of Pakistani flags and raising of pro-Pakistan slogans by separatist leaders and questioned Prime Minister Narendra Modi's ability.

Patna: RJD President Lalu Prasad on Friday assailed the PDP-BJP government in Jammu and Kashmir for failing to prevent waving of Pakistani flags and raising of pro-Pakistan slogans by separatist leaders and questioned Prime Minister Narendra Modi's ability.

"Narendra Modi and BJP during campaign for Lok Sabha election used to say that Pakistan would not be able to talk to them looking in their eyes if their party comes to power. What happened to 56 inch chest of Narendra Modi?" Prasad told reporters slamming PDP-BJP's rule in the strategic state.

"This is for the first time that the whole world saw that Pakistan flags were unfurled and pro-Pakistan slogans were raised without any hindrance from the soil of India...This is possible only in Modi raj/BJP raj," he said after arrival here from Delhi.

"It is too much now," he said referring to the incident.

"The PDP-BJP coaltion government has proved devastating for the country," the RJD chief said. "After opposition parties made an issue on anti-national activities of separatists Masarat Alam and Syed Ahmad Geelani, they have been held," he added.

Prasad demanded an All party meeting on the "volatile" situation in Jammu and Kashmir under the present regime.
