May be Digvijay wants to join us: Subramanian Swamy

Bengaluru: Taking a dig at Congress leader Digvijay Singh, BJP leader Subramanian Swamy on Saturday said his remarks that the Anna Hazare agitation was sponsored by RSS was a "great compliment" for the Sangh organisation and "may be he wants to join us".

"Well it is a great compliment to RSS that the movement against corruption was sponsored by RSS," Swamy told reporters here when referred to Singh's comments.

"...He doesn't know what he is saying. He is actually praising RSS. May be he wants to join us," he added.

Swamy also slammed Singh for his comments that AAP is the 'B Team' of BJP and that Congress had "chosen a lesser evil" by supporting Arvind Kejriwal in forming the government in Delhi in 2013.

"...The fact is - so many people are now leaving AAP and are joining BJP. He (Digvijay) thinks they are all B team. But anyone who accepts BJP ideology is welcome provided he does not have corruption charges against him," Swamy said.

He said these accusation will not have any effect and BJP's Kiran Bedi will become the next Chief Minister and restore law and order in Delhi "which had collapsed in the 49-day rule of Arvind Kejriwal".
