PM Modi pays tributes to martyrs of Jallianwala Bagh

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday paid tributes to the martyrs on the anniversary of the Jallianwala Bagh massacre.

"My tributes to the martyrs of the Jallianwala Bagh," the prime minister tweeted.

On April 13, 1919, hundreds of innocent people were massacred by British troops at the Jallianwala Bagh in Amritsar, Punjab.

The prime minister visited the Jallianwala Bagh last month.
