Bandipora: The General Officer Commanding of Chinar Corps, Lieutenant General Subrata Saha, on Wednesday said that there is a need to take lessons from the recent terror attacks and disclosed that the security forces are on high alert to thwart any infiltration attempt along the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir despite the unfavourable weather conditions.

"Whenever an attack takes place, we take it seriously. It is important for us that we take lessons from such attacks. Irrespective of high snowfall, our security forces are alert and active to prevent infiltration attempts," he said.

According to reports, the BSF troops earlier this morning foiled two infiltration bids by terrorists on the international border in Samba and Kathua districts of Jammu and Kashmir.

The concerned authorities have sounded high alert all along the international border and the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir in wake of the recent terror attacks on a police station in Kathua district and an Army camp in Samba district earlier this month.
