Samba: The Border Security Force (BSF) on Friday foiled an infiltration attempt along the International Border in Jammu and Kashmir's Samba region.

Four suspected militants reportedly fled the spot after the troops fired at them.

"Movement of four militants was detected by alert security forces along international border," ANI quoted Inspector General of Border Security Force, Jammu Frontier Rakesh Kumar as saying.

He further said, "They were left with no option but to withdraw & return back to Pak territory when BSF opened fire on them."

"We suspect that they might have carried out a recce during day time. We are very alert in wake of the Dina Nagar attack," he added.
