The first batch of Amarnath Yatra pilgrims was flagged off from Jammu base camp on Wednesday.
Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh had yesterday held a review meeting on security provisions for the Amarnath Yatra.
Elaborate security arrangements have been made to ensure a safe and secure yatra for the pilgrims.
The yatra will come to an end on August 29.
