Kerala shocker: Minor school girls sexually harassed

of alleged sexual harassment of some minor school girls at
Kumbala about 30 kms away from here.

The organisation in their complaint to the Superintendent
of Police, Kasargod, had alleged sexual harrassment of some
girls of Government Upper Primary School at Kumbala, a member
of the Childline saod.

The girl students were lured to the nearby shop allegedly
by the shop owner and harassed them, she said.

The alleged incident came to light after the school
headmaster had noticed money in the possession of the girls
and on questioning they had revealed of the harassment, she
said.

Meanwhile, youth organisations of various political
parties had taken out a rally protesting against the incident
and demanding the immediate arrest of the culprit.

Police had used minor force to disperse the activists
who tried to damage the shop. In the melee some activists and
a couple of mediapersons suffered injuries.
