Madani taken to Hosathota

People`s Democratic Party leader Abdul Nasser Madani, one of the accused in the 2008 serial blasts here, was taken to Hosathota in Kodagu district for further investigation today, a top police official said.

"Madani has been taken to Hosathota in Somwarpet taluk
in Kodagu for further investigation since the conspiracy
for the serial blasts was hatched here," Joint Commissioner of
Crime Alok Kumar told PTI.

Madani was being interrogated in Madiwala police
station after being brought to Bangalore from Kerala where he
was arrested on August 17.

On August 18, the Karnataka High Court had reserved
its orders on a criminal petition filed by Madani praying for
quashing of charge sheet filed against him by police in
connection with the blasts.
