Special judge G A Sanap rejected the application filed by Feroze Rashid after CBI lawyer argued that it was a frivolous plea.

Rashid had filed the application on October 9.

He is one of the accused in the blasts case.

257 persons were killed and over 700 injured in 13 blasts in Mumbai on March 12, 1993. The court had in 2006 convicted 100 accused.
