 Two elderly men have been booked for allegedly sodomising a youth for past seven years on pretext of promising a job here, police said on Wednesday.

Akola: Two elderly men have been booked for allegedly sodomising a youth for past seven years on pretext of promising a job here, police said on Wednesday.

The accused have been identified as Niranjan Kumar Goenka (80) and Jugal Kishor Rungta (70), Civil Lines police station inspector Subhash Makode said.

The duo were sodomising a youth since he was 15 years old on the pretext of a confirmed job at an educational institute, where the victim was working on contractual basis, he said, adding the two accused were office bearers of that institute.

The incident came to light on Monday when the victim, now 22, hailing from nearby Bhaurad village, showed video clips of the alleged act at a press conference here.

A case under sections 377 (unnatural offences) and 34 (acts done by several persons in furtherance of common intention) of IPC, he said, adding no arrests have been made in the matter and further investigations are on.
