CBSE Class 12 results announced for six regions

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Wednesday announced the results for Ajmer, Bhubaneshwar, Panchkula, Patna, Allahabad and Guwahati regions.

New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Wednesday announced the results for Ajmer, Bhubaneshwar, Panchkula, Patna, Allahabad and Guwahati regions.

The students can view ther results on the following websites:

www.cbse.nic.in
The board will declare the results of Delhi NCR region on Thursday (May 29).

The class XII exams were held between March 1 to April 17 all over the country. More than 10 lakh students had appeared for the exams across the country.
The Class 12 results for Chennai and Trivandrum were announced on Monday.

CBSE Class X results: Girls outshine boys

The CBSE last week the results of Class 10 examinations.

Girls once again outshone boys in the Class X results, which recorded a pass percentage of 98.87, a marginal increase over last year.

The pass percentage of girls stood at 99.06 percent as compared to 98.74 percent of boys.

The overall pass percentage last year was 98.76 percent.

CBSE had three years ago introduced a new system under which there was no board examination for students studying in schools affiliated to the board and those who do not wish to move out of the CBSE system after Class X.

Students under this scheme are put through the school- based `continuous and comprehensive evaluation` programme.
