New Delhi: The government is planning to prepare an Immigration Bill before the next session of Parliament, External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj said on Monday. Speaking during a discussion in Rajya Sabha, Swaraj said that an Immigration Bill had been prepared in 1983 but it has many deficiencies. "We want to bring a perfect Bill by removing these deficiencies," she said, adding the Bill can be ready by the next session of the Parliament. Swaraj expressed horror at the kind of people who had become agents, saying that some such agents take huge sums of money from the poor and then leave them in trouble. She also noted that some people landed in jail, instead of their employer`s place, on landing in a foreign country because the documents they were travelling on were fake, and assured that all such issues would be considered while bringing the Bill to Parliament.
