INLD's Singh elected as leader of parliamentary party in RS

New Delhi, Nov 25: Rao Man Singh, an Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) member in the Rajya Sabha, was today unanimously elected as leader of the parliamentary party in the upper house.

the upper house.

Singh was elected at a parliamentary party meeting presided over INLD president and Haryana chief minister Om Prakash Chautala here.

Faqir Chand was elected as the deputy leader and Harender Malik was elected as chief whip.
A resolution passed at the meeting condemned the terrorist attack on the Raghunath temple in Jammu and demanded that stern steps be taken to prevent recurrence of such
violence.
