External affairs minister Jaswant Singh will head an Indian delegation at the India-EU troika ministerial meeting in Madrid on February 14.
During the 14th round of talks, the minister will have discussions with the EU troika of foreign minister of Spain, Josep Pique, EC commissioner for external affairs, Chris Patten, and EC high representative for foreign and security policy Javier Solana.
The meeting would prepare for the third India-EU summit that would be held in Copenhagen in the second half of this year. It would also provide an opportunity to the participants to exchange views on regional and international issues of common concern.
Mr Singh will also call on Spanish President Jose Maria Aznar and King Juan Carlos.
