New Delhi: The first ever double decker train service between Mumbai and Goa ran into trouble on its first day itself, with the driver of the train halting it at Roha station on Friday morning.

The driver of the train, who is an employee of the Central Railways, was supposed to pilot it to Ratnagiri. However, he cited employment rules and said his duty was till Roha only and from there it is the duty of the Konkan Railways driver to pull off the train.
Refusing to budge on the issue, Konkan Railways, however, said that it was the duty of the Central railways driver to take the train further.

Due to the Konkan-Central Railways fight, the passengers faced a harrowing time as the train got late for over an hour.
The Central Railways later sent a replacement driver, who further drove the train to its destination.
