New Delhi: President Pranab Mukherjee will address the nation on the eve of the 68th Independence Day on Thursday.
The address will be telecast live by Doordarshan and All India Radio first in English and then followed by Hindi translation from 7 pm onwards, a press release from the Rashtrapati Bhawan stated.
Doordarshan will also telecast translation of the address in regional languages from 8:00 to 8:30 pm, while AIR will broadcast regional language versions of the address from 9:30 pm onwards.
