New Delhi, Jan 11: In yet another bid to plead innocence against the charges leveled by CPI(M) leader Brinda Karat, yoga guru Swami Ramdev today said that he has never used the powder of the human skull in his medicines and insisted that he believed in healing only through the power of yoga.
He also said that those had leveled the allegations had removed the labels from the medicines, which were taken for tests in laboratories. So, his medicines were not used for tests. “There were labeling and licensing problems and false charges were leveled against me,” said the Swami.
Emphasising that yoga had the cure for all illnesses, Ramdev said that his organisation conducted about 1 lakh tests on as many as 10, 000 people across various cities. The results have proved that yoga, homeopathy and Unani medicine have cure for all the diseases.
He called upon government to help people like him in popularising yoga and ayurveda, which he termed as “rich cultural heritage of India”.
