Kolkata: After inviting wrath of many over his controversial remarks, Trinamool Congress MP Tapas Pal is in fresh trouble as a Public Interest Litigation was filed against him in Calcutta High Court on Wednesday.

The PIL sought registration of FIR and penal action against Pal for his disgraceful remarks.

Although the actor-turned-politician, Pal, under all-round attack tendered unconditional apology yesterday, yet there are continuous protests being carried out by the Opposition parties demanding action against him.

The CPI(M) and Congress workers took out a procession and burnt Paul`s effigy.

On the other hand, TMC supremo Mamata Banerjee has accepted that Pal had committed a big blunder and he apologised under her instruction. However, she further said that she can`t kill him for whatever he had said when asked about the action West Bengal CM would take on the issue.

His apology has now been accepted by the TMC stating that the party believes the apology letter was written in right spirit.
In a TV news channel footage, Pal was shown addressing a gathering in his Krishnanagar constituency and telling his workers that if anyone from the Opposition dares to touch any woman then he will send his boys and get the women of Opposition party raped.

Furthermore, in another video, which went viral yesterday, he was seen inciting partymen to kill CPI(M) workers.

Pal, while addressing his party workers, told them to slit the throats of CPI(M) members with knives.

He further added that their mothers must have slept with dogs to have given birth to them.
