Washington: Microsoft has decided to pull its hands from pirates and has announced that they will not provide free upgradation of Windows 10 for them.
The world's biggest technology company, which previously put an offer of providing free Windows 10 to people running Windows 7 and 8.1 and also for the pirated copies, but now they have changed it for pirates and they have to pay for the latest upgradation, the Verge reported.
Microsoft said that they are presently planning to run some attractive Windows 10 upgrade offers that will allow people with pirated copies to move to an official version, but till consumers have to wait.
The company explained that they will display a watermark on the desktop informing people when they're running a pirated copy of Windows 10, but no other major obstacle other than this.
