Chopper crash lands in Nagaland; five hurt

As per reports, a chopper belonging to the state's disaster management team crash landed on Tuesday.

Kohima: A day after seven pilgrims were killed in a chopper crash near Vaishno Devi shrine in Katra, another helicopter-related incident has been reported, this time from Nagaland.

As per NDTV, a chopper belonging to the state's disaster management team crash landed on Tuesday.

Five people were hurt in the incident. The report, however, did not state the exact location of the incident.

On Monday, six Vaishno Devi pilgrims and a woman pilot were killed when the helicopter they were in crashed at the new bus stand ground in Jammu’s Katra town.

The helicopter was on way from Katra to Sanjhi Chhat, which falls en route to the Vaishno Devi shrine in Trikuta Hills, when it crashed.

Bird hit is suspected to be behind that crash.
