Three minor siblings were on Wednesday killed after a portion of a wall of their house collapsed following heavy rains in Rajasthan`s Jhalawar district, police said.

Jaipur: Three minor siblings were on Wednesday killed after a portion of a wall of their house collapsed following heavy rains in Rajasthan`s Jhalawar district, police said.

The incident occurred in Dudhalia village where the victims identified as Sangeeta (14), Ramkaran (10) and Rakesh (8) were sleeping in a room when a portion of the wall collapsed in the wee hours on Wedesday morning.
Several places in Kota division recorded heavy rainfall during the past 24 hours with Kota city recording a maximum rainfall of 122 mm till Wednesday morning, according to the MeT department.
Jhalawar also recorded 80 mm rainfall. While Churu and Bundi received 78 mm and 40 mm of rains. Ajmer recorded a rainfall of 13.4 mm. Pilani and Sriganganagar registered a rainfall of 2.3 mm and 6 mm. in addition, Vanasthali and Jaipur recorded 2.7 mm and 2.3 mm rainfall respectively.
