Almora: One should choose the road less travelled in the field of science, renowned scientist C N Rao here today said.
He was delivering the sixth B D Pande Memorial Lecture at the Uttarakhand Seva Nidhi. He called Almora as the knowledge city of the hill state.
Remembering scientist Michael Faraday, he said that any one should choose the road less travelled in the field. Rao also recalled the work of renowned scientists C V Raman, J C Bose and mathematician Ramanujan to drive home his point to the audience.
The Bharat Ratna scientist also advised that we should prepare a roadmap for children education to provide them the best education.
Science is a wonderful profession, he said, and added that America, China, South Korea are working better in this field.
