Kathmandu: Around two dozen people, including 17 foreigners, were injured when a bus met with an accident near the tourist destination of Pokhara in western Nepal, officials said on Friday.
The incident occurred at Bhalam Deurali last night. The foreigners who sustained injuries were from Thailand and Taiwan, said police officials in Kaski district.
The injured were admitted to Manipal Teaching Hospital in Pokhara. They are out of danger and would be discharged soon, officials of the hospital said. The bus was heading for Harihar cave near Pokhara when the accident occurred. A team of foreigners visiting Pokhara to provide financial aid to a primary school were on a trip to the cave. PTI
