Two Indians arrested in Nepal

Kathmandu, July 12: Two Indians and a Nepalese national have been arrested from the outskirts of Kathmandu for allegedly possessing 225 grams of heroin, police said.

national have been arrested from the outskirts of Kathmandu for allegedly possessing 225 grams of heroin, police said.

The trio was arrested yesterday by Nepal police's
narcotics control unit.

Acting on a tip off that the three were secretly
supplying narcotics from Raxaul to markets in Kathmandu,
police arrested them from a guest house at Kalimati in the
outskirts of Kathmandu, Nepal police headquarters said in a
news bulletin.

Three packets of herion, weighing 225 grams, were
allegedly recovered from their room.

Both Indians hailed from Bihar -- Sanjaya Singh from
Champaran district and Ravi Varma from Patna,

The Nepalese national has been identified as Mukesh
Kumar Rauniyar of Birgunj.
