Kathmandu: Two mild tremors rocked Nepal this morning as the country continued to experience aftershocks following the devastating earthquake in April.
A magnitude 5 aftershock was recorded at 7.41 am with epicentre at Sindhupalchowk district, 75 km east of Kathmandu.
Earlier, at 5.26 am, an aftershock of magnitude 4.1 was recorded with epicentre at Kavre, 50 km east of Kathmandu, according to the National Seismological Centre.
Altogether, 340 aftershocks with magnitude of 4 or above have hit Nepal following the deadly 7.8-strong earthquake on April 25 that killed nearly 9,000 people.
