Wallops Island: Orbital Sciences will launch its Antares rocket from NASA’s Wallops Flight Facility in Virginia on Wednesday.
The rocket will be carrying its Cygnus cargo craft on the first Orbital commercial resupply mission to the International Space Station. It was earlier scheduled to lift off on Tuesday but was cancelled due to the chill currently enveloping North America.
“It launches at 18:32 UTC on Wednesday,” tweeted NASA.
The rocket was rolled out to Launch Pad-0A at NASA`s Wallops Flight Facility on Sunday.
The launch on Wednesday will result in a grapple of Cygnus by the Expedition 38 crew aboard the station on Sunday, January 6, 2014.
