Pudukottai: A 70-year-old woman and her daughter were today found dead in their house at Lakhmipuram near Tirumayyam, in what is suspected to be a murder over property dispute with their relatives, police said.
Two grandsons of the elderly woman have been taken into custody for questioning in this connection, police said.
Police said Azhagi and her 40-year-old daughter Adaikammai were found dead by neighbours who informed police.
The bodies and sent it for post-mortem, they said adding there was a dispute over dividing the property inherited by Adaikammai with her relatives.
