Microsoft will release its latest version of Operating Systems (OS) — Windows 10 — on July 29, and to add to the buzz the software giant has promised that it will be free for download for many current Windows users.
Word is that Microsoft will give the Windows 10 away for one year after it’s release, but with riders.
The Redmond-headquartered company will let Windows 10 be downloaded and installed free of charge — provided that the PC already be running on a version of Windows from the last five years.
So, anyone using a PC that has Windows 7 Service Pack 1 or Windows 8.1 (Update) installed, qualifies for a free upgrade to Windows 10.

Microsoft stresses that the latest version of its all popular Operating System (OS) Windows 10 is 'familiar and easy to use.'
The enhancements include an improved Start menu and to the relief of many users the interface is also 'designed to start-up and resume fast.'
Microsoft's all new Web browser — Microsoft Edge – too will debut on Windows 10 and the OS will be 'compatible with the hardware and software' that most users already use, it promises.
