Muzaffarnagar: A 48-year-old farmer was shot dead by unidentified miscreants under Titri police station area here, police said today.
Prakash was shot dead last evening when he was returning from Muzaffarnagar to his home in Haidarnagar village, they said.
The body was found with bullet injuries outside the village, police said.
Old enmity was stated to be the reason behind the murder, they said, adding, the body has been sent for post-mortem and the matter is being investigated.
