Five killed, dozen hurt in truck-van collision

Bareilly (UP): Five persons, including
four women, were killed and a dozen others injured when a
pick-up van overturned after being hit by a truck in Kant area
in Shahjahanpur district, police said on Monday.

The incident occurred last night when the truck
collided with the pick-up van near Rasoolapur village, they
said adding that five persons, including the van driver, were
killed on the spot.

The injured were admitted to a hospital where
condition of some was stated to be serious, police said.
