Lucknow: A naxalite, wanted in a number of cases of murder, was arrested on Wednesday in Mirzapur district of Uttar Pradesh.
A resident of Bihar, Pankaj alias Chunmun alias Toto was nabbed in Sardah forest area in the district, Special DGP (Law and Order) Brijlal told reporters here.
The naxalite, wanted in a number of cases of murder in Mirzapur, was active in Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand and Bihar, he said.
Some arms and ammunition were recovered from him, the DGP said.
