No tolerance for unfair means in UP Board exam: Minister

Uttar Pradesh government on Tuesdsay said the state administration will not tolerate any unfair means practiced by the students in UP board and have taken steps ensuring a smooth passage for the examinations.

UP secondary education minister Mahboob Ali said the state administration would teach a lesson to those found involved in disturbing the board examination.

The government has announced the dates for the UP Board starting from February 19 to March 12, 2015 in which more than 70 lakh students of high school and intermediate will appear.

The state administration has taken steps to conduct the examinations smoothly without using unfair means by the Exam Cheating Mafias, Ali said.

The minister also added the new session for the students will start from April instead of July.
