Etah (UP): Two brothers were injured when they were allegedly beaten up by four persons for resisting eve-teasing of a girl in Barthari village under Bagwala police station here, police said on Sunday.

Etah (UP), Aug 30 (PTI) Two brothers were injured when they were allegedly beaten up by four persons for resisting eve-teasing of a girl in Barthari village under Bagwala police station here, police said today.
The victims identified as Pappoo and his brother Naresh were beaten up with lathis by Ramkumar, Deepu, Sonu and Monu when the duo resisted them from harassing a girl belonging to same village, they said.
They were admitted to a hospital where their condition is stated to be serious, they said.
On a complaint of Naresh, an FIR has been registered against the four, they said.
In a separate incident, one Hafiz Khan was beaten up by Muraiya and his seven accomplices when he resisted them from harassing a woman after entering her house in Gadhwala village under Pilua police station, they said.
The woman is related to Hafiz, they said.
All the eight accused have been booked for beating up the victim, they said.
No accused has been arrested so far in this connection, they said, adding that the matters are being investigated. PTI CORR DIP
