Kolkata: A day after Congress threatened to pull out of the Mamata Banerjee government in West Bengal over the presidential poll issue, the Trinamool Congress dismissed it as the ally`s internal matter and said it would not create any crisis in the state.

"Any decision taken by the Congress, a partner in the Mamata Banerjee government, on the Presidential election issue is their party matter. But it will not create any crisis here," Industry minister Partha Chatterjee told reporters after the the Trinamool Congress Legislature Party meeting.

To a question if differences with the Congress on the presidential election would create a problem in coordination in the Assembly, Chatterjee said "the presidential issue will not create any crisis here."

The meeting unanimously resolved to extend full support to party chief Mamata Banerjee`s decision on the presidential election, Chatterjee, the deputy leader of the TCLP said.

Chatterjee said that the party chief would address party legislators and MPs on June 18 on the issue.
